Call for Posters: BIPA Annual Conference 2025

The British Indian Psychiatric Association (BIPA) is pleased to announce a call for poster presentations at its Annual Conference, taking place on July 5th and 6th, 2025, in Birmingham. This conference provides an important platform for sharing research and clinical knowledge related to mental health.


Who Can Submit a Poster?

• Psychiatry doctors at all levels of their careers.

• Medical students.

• Foundation doctors.

We encourage anyone passionate about mental health to present their work!


Poster and Abstract Guidelines:

Topic: Posters should focus on topics related to psychiatry or mental health.

• Abstract:

  • The abstract must be no more than 400 words, including the title, authors' names, and their affiliations (where they work or study).

  • The abstract should include these sections: aims, background, methods, outcome, conclusion.


• Poster Format:

  • Posters must be presented on a single sheet, either A0 or A1 in size.


How to Submit:

  • Please send your abstract to Dr Trupti Koli by email to bipaacademicteam@gmail.com .

    Important Dates:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 17:00 (5:00 PM) GMT on Friday, May 30th, 2025. We cannot accept late submissions.

  • Conference Dates: July 5th and 6th, 2025.


What Happens After Submission?

• Selected posters will be displayed at the BIPA Annual Conference in Birmingham.

• The two best posters will receive awards.

• All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
