Call for Essay Competition: BIPA Annual Conference 2026

We are inviting all medical students and foundation doctors to take part in an exciting essay competition.

The topic is: “How do we, as doctors, ensure we are aware of and doing everything we can to reduce health inequalities in our day-to-day practice?”

Prizes and Recognition:

• The top three essays will win prizes and be celebrated at our annual conference on June 27th and 28th, 2026, at the De Vere Wokefield Estate, Reading.

• Winning essays will be published on our website.

• Everyone who enters will receive a certificate for their portfolio.

Essay Guidelines:

• Essays should be no longer than 2,000 words.

• They must focus on the competition topic.

• Essay Submission Deadline: 17:00 (5:00 PM) GMT on Sunday, May 31st, 2026.

We cannot accept late submissions.
