Call for Essay Competition: BIPA Annual Conference 2025

We are inviting all medical students and foundation doctors to take part in an exciting essay competition.

The topic is: How diaspora organisations like BIPA can shape culturally informed global psychiatry in the digital age?

Prizes and Recognition:

• The top three essays will win prizes and be celebrated at our annual conference on July 5th and 6th, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport.

• Winning essays will be published on our website.

• Everyone who enters will receive a certificate for their portfolio.

Essay Guidelines:

• Essays should be no longer than 2,000 words.

• They must focus on the competition topic.

• Essay Submission Deadline: 17:00 (5:00 PM) GMT on Sunday, June 15th, 2025.

We cannot accept late submissions.

Additional Opportunities:

• We are offering bursaries (free conference registration) to some students.
