Dr Kishore Babu Jeyapackiam is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with over thirteen years of experience across secure services, prison healthcare, community forensic pathways, general adult psychiatry, and rehabilitation settings. His career reflects a sustained commitment to high‑quality, evidence‑based care and strong multidisciplinary leadership. His work spans complex risk assessment, tribunal and court reporting, multi‑agency collaboration, and governance roles, as demonstrated throughout his forensic and locality posts.

Dr Jeyapackiam completed specialist training in forensic psychiatry across medium secure, low secure, high secure, and community services, gaining extensive experience in structured professional judgement tools, criminal justice liaison, MAPPA processes, and Part III MHA pathways. His consultant roles have included managing conditional discharge and CTO caseloads, delivering specialist assessments such as HCR‑20, START and SAPROF, and providing forensic opinion to police custody, probation, prison in‑reach and courts. He has chaired MDT reviews, led CPA processes, supervised trainees, and contributed to service development and governance across multiple teams.

His academic interests include neuropsychiatry and neuro‑forensic psychiatry, supported by postgraduate qualifications and research in functional neurological disorders and psychosis.
